| Job Description: | One of the top packaged Bakery Food Companies in Savannah is seeking reliable, dependable and flexible Production Helpers to join their team. We offer development opportunities, continuous education and training, a competitive salary, excellent benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) Major Job Duties • Perform routine tasks using standard procedures and equipment. • Performs production line tasks as directed by person in charge. • Assist in hand-packing and hand-stacking product/cases onto pallets. • Maintain cleanliness of work area(s). • Position requires ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team • Practices and complies with all company policies and procedures including safety, work rules, and attendance rules. • Perform other duties as directed by supervision. Experience & Skills Required • High School Diploma or GED preferred • Must be able to work ANY shift (flexible), overtime, including weekends and holidays. • Must have physical ability and strength to perform assigned tasks. • Must be able to communicate, work in a team environment and follow work and safety instructions. • Ability to routinely move product and/or containers between equipment processes. • Ability to perform tasks at a rate equal to production standards. • Must follow all safety procedures and guidelines. • 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus but not necessary.
