| Job Description: | Major Duties Include: -Pulls orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming and outgoing trailers according to the shipping schedule. -Ensures that product received from production or other plants is recorded correctly. -Load and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met. -Maintains cleanliness of work area and personal hygiene. -Practice and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc. Desired Experience: -Six (6) or more months shipping or related experience. -Physically capable of movement to all areas of the plant and exterior of the plant as necessary. -Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 16 hours on a daily basis. -Ability to routinely stoop, bend and lift product containers weighing up to 50 lbs. alone or above 50 lbs. with assistance at a height to 36 inches. Ability to lift 7 lbs. from floor to 72 inches continuously as job necessitates. -Ability to exert force necessary to move wheeled equipment, weighing 1000 lbs at a distance of 500 feet. -Ability to exert force necessary to use hand truck to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 lbs., up to a distance of 300 feet. -Ability to climb ladder or steps as necessary to perform job duties. Other Requirements: -Must meet/maintain CDC food handling requirements and other government and/or customer requirements. -Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
