Job Description:Ambassador is currently seeking Entry level Electrical Technician Helper

Electrical Technician perform preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and corrective maintenance on equipment such as solenoids, relays, valves, motors, switches, controls, build conduit and runs wires. Work on site to keep machinery and specialty equipment running correctly.

90 days Temp to hire
Once hired on with company they will pay for full health and dental benefits, and 401-K matching

Pay is based on experience

Monday-Friday 7AM-4:30PM mandatory overtime is required

Major Job Duties:
+Execute plans of electrical wiring for a well functioning electrical systems
+Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment
+Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
+Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
+Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
+Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
+Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
+Drill and tap holes for mounting brackets and conduit
+Any miscellaneous tasks assigned

Requirements:
+Proven experience as an electrician
+Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
+Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
+Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
+Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
+Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
+Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician is a plus
+Ability to fit in small spacing on assembly line
+ Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting , and turning movements
+ Ability to carry out frequent reaching , pushing and pulling motions
+Must be able to read a tape measure.
+Required Tools:/Equipment
+Must be able to use a drill.
+Must have basic hand tools.
