Group Accident Coverage

Voluntary accident insurance provides a range of fixed, lump-sum benefits for injuries resulting from a covered accident, or for accidental death and dismemberment (if included). These benefits are paid directly to the insured and may be used for any reason, from deductibles and prescriptions to transportation and child care.


Critical Illness Insurance

Voluntary critical illness insurance provides a fixed, lump-sum benefit upon diagnosis of a critical illness, which can include heart attack, stroke, paralysis and more. These benefits are paid directly to the insured and may be used for any reason, from deductibles and prescriptions to transportation and child care.


Short Term Disability

Everyday illnesses or injuries can interfere with your ability to work. Even a few weeks away from work can make it difficult to manage household costs. Short term disability coverage can pay up to 60% of your income, so you can focus on getting better, and worry less about keeping up with your bills. Benefits are paid directly to you. You can choose the amount of your disability benefits to meet your needs up to a maximum monthly benefit of $2,500 not to exceed 60% of you gross pay. You can receive your benefits for up to 12 weeks.


Group Term Life

Employees can purchase life insurance for themselves through Sun Life Insurance Company's Group Term Life Plan. You can purchase up to $200,000 of life coverage for yourself, $50,000 on your spouse and $10,000 for each child under age 26.
